I was surprised to find that “Run (I’m A Natural Disaster)” was prominently featured in X-Men: First Class. Don’t remember it? It was played during Erik and Charles’ Mutant Star Search Montage. I think some people might have missed it (myself included) because A) it was an instrumental version of the song and B) nobody knows any Cee-Lo Green songs other than the ”F*ck You” one. (And people only know Gnarls Barkley for “Crazy.”)
Recently, I was listening to the lyrics, and I thought to myself: How great would it be if this song were used to promote a Lemony Snicket reboot?
The Baudelaire kids are, understandably, not enthused with the prospect.
