But the void where Erik’s thoughts should be sits cold in Charles’s mind. That awful helmet glints hatefully with afternoon sunlight, vicious red, and Charles presses his lips into a thin line as he realizes they’re standing at an all too familiar impasse.
“I can’t,” Charles whispers, shaking his head miserably. He reaches up shakily with one hand, touches the helmet with trembling fingers. He traces the contours where the metal frames Erik’s face, and in the quiet he says, “This stands between us.”

To make up for my teasing the other night I finished another road trip picture of the guys going for a game in the park, with an early blast of snow, and booze to keep the chill out. Charles proving with his clothing that you can take the man out of Oxford, but you can’t take the Oxford out of the man (oh god I drew him too young looking, it’s an illusion okay ;D) Erik on the other hand even I want to do bad things to XD
I’m a bit worried about my style lately, is it too realistic? Not realistic enough? Or not cartoony enough. I blame my love for both forms of art and indecision, I always want to be both and you can’t have that. Moanmoanmoanwingewinge *dodges friends throwing heavy things at her*

urm this is the first of two ‘pin up’ type drawings I did. They’re certainly a deviation from my normal style. I just really fancied trying to capture their likeness more and at the same time draw two sexy pictures lol Be back to my normal style next time I promise, but it was a fun thing to play with.
Even Erik can make those damn dull tracksuits look good XD
