My favorite Britney song performed live. *squeal*
This song was a bonus track off the deluxe version of her latest album, Femme Fatale. I’m so surprised they didn’t make this a single because the beat is killer. I mean, it was obviously used structurally in the show as a transitional song, but it’s still cool that they gave a B-Side a spot on the setlist. Additionally, unlike some of the other songs, “He About To Lose Me” was actually performed live. (Or so I have been informed)
Shrewd readers will remember that I used this song as a pop showpiece in my Social Network Mixtape. I still maintain that it’s a great song that nicely demonstrates the Mark/Sean/Eduardo triangle.
