Holy Moley! Somebody actually recorded a performance of SLASH FRIDAY NIGHT!? This is easily the most flattering thing anyone has ever done involving my writing. Thank you so much for making this happen, Blaineisatimelord!
Sidenote: Hearing someone else sing this out loud makes me realize something about the lyrics that I probably should have notated. In the Merlin marathon section, I always pronounced “fiction,” in my head, so that the tion part sounded like the name “Sean.” Doing so helped it rhyme better with ‘thon and ‘thong.
This is no criticism against the recorded song. It’s perfectly lovely as it is (I’ve listened to it around seven times now). This nuance in pronunciation is something that I did in my head and failed to spell out when I posted the parody in the first place. I just wanted to throw it out there, for the sake of clarification, in case people were wondering how to make “fiction” fit in better while singing along.

Jesse was amazing, and Andrew was so cute and insecure! Quinn had great character here, I wish she was like this on the show! Uh, and Sues insults were just on point the whole time! YOU MUST MAKE A SEQUEL! Also, extra points for mentioning Gilmore Girls. It's one of my top 5 TV shows of all time!

I really wish that they had done something like that with her and Ms. Pillsbury at the beginning of season 2. I mean, I don’t think you can just pop out a baby in high school and not go through some kind of transitional pain related to personal identity. They’re trying to show that pain in Quinn NOW for season three, but it’s just too little too late for me. She’s coming off as unstable and frenetic. Meh! Here’s hoping they give her some decent development for the second half of the season. That gurl needs a goal, FAST. Also, I love the energy that Chris Colfer and Dianna Agron have off the show. I wish Kurt and Quinn would get a duet or some kind of storyline together. They’re just cuteness personified. That’s why I just HAD to fic them together.
A SEQUEL? Really? I think this is the first time I’ve gotten a request for one. Wow! I must admit that although I wanted to leave the ending open, I haven’t given much thought to where else to take the two of them. Any ideas? Song suggestions? I’m kind of a slow writer, but I can definitely start marinading some outlines. I have some ideas for Glee episodes that might translate well for a crossover sequel. How do you feel about Quinn trying out for The Braniacs and becoming an academic dynamo-diva? Maybe Jesse can be the faculty sponsor?
